After receiving a number of offers from London clubs, the UK’s number one breakbeat night has decided to take on a bi-monthly residency at the Medicine Bar in Shoreditch. Adding to its highly popular monthly nights at Stealth in Nottingham and Custard Factory in Birmingham, Pete Jordan will be bringing the Spectrum brand to host the excellent Medicine Bar venue on the third Saturday of every other month starting from Saturday March 18th.

The first event sees Jordan joined by breakbeat pins-ups, Atomic Hooligan, still revelling in the success of their debut LP, You Are Here on Botchit and Scarper Records. The Watford based duo is renowned for high quality DJ and live sets, and have an extensive discography and remix credits to their name. Finalising the line up in the main room is Jurassik from the well respected breaks night Supatronix.

Room 2, is hosted by London based party collective, Ffaction. “Festival friendliness and timeless beats and images combine to give a hedonistic experience tinged with idiocy”. RobotWon, Buba & Diop and Beta Stag are the hosts with visuals by Its Real! Expect something very special!

Spectrum celebrates its Fifth Birthday this February with a series of events in Nottingham and Birmingham. Furthermore the Sound of Spectrum record label launches a month later. With a number of tour dates planned for across the UK in summer and an Australian tour at the end of 2006, it seems that once UK dominance is gained, it will be the world next.
The latest 150px Advert Offer!

The Friday Team, hailed as the media of the future that turns events into stars, provides comprehensive what’s on guides for different locations, including one relatively unknown piece of paradise, known as Malawi, in Central Africa.

Event listings are provided free of charge to subscribers, within Blogs and weekly Emagazines, alongside adverts from business’ and individuals; and articles from a team of journalists and photographers cover event reviews, event management, travel, charities, business, musicians, venues, local culture, the environment and web design.

This week, 10 new locations on www.fridayteam.co.uk, went live, as the first stage of the Teams UK expansion for 2006 grabbed hold of the bit and pulled on the reins.

The 10 new locations include Berkshire, Bristol, Essex, Liverpool, London, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire and Yorkshire and each location is ready for further developments into Blogs and weekly Emagazines.

And as they go there, The Friday Team are offering a limited amount of 150 x 150px squares in which you can display your graphics, ‘alt’ your keywords and link to your site, on any of the 10 shiny new pages.

As an example: see the London page at www.fridayteam.co.uk/london/, find the repetitive line of African art, (that is where your image will go).

With several web projects expanding over 5 domains and a collective figure of over 600 unique visitors per day, The Friday Team is a vibrant and passionate force on the Internet that is only just starting to make noise. And it is not without many hours of study, research and web design, by Director, Roz Edwards, that the network has collected ‘Google’ points for good behaviour, including a page rank of 5 on one project after only 4 months online. The Friday Team will indeed be one company to be seen rubbing shoulders with, because its got dedication and it means business.

To purchase a 150 x 150px square on one of the new locations, first please realize one thing. The Friday Team are not selling you a space with a link on an (as yet) unknown website from the ‘million dollar dream land’, but asking you to contribute to - and become part of - the developing Friday Team network which is already showing its success and popularity online.

Each 150px square is being sold at an introductory price of just 15 pounds for a 12 month subscription, or 2 squares for 25 pounds for 12 months.*

Email mail@fridayteam.com to apply and include your 150 x 150px image, link, ‘alt’ tag and preferred location. First come will be first served and priority will be given to those who actually reside in the location.

*Subject to a standard 1 pound charge if to be paid by pay pal.

Please feel free to email if you have any queries regarding this release. Thank you!
